Hey everybody!!

My song "Imagining Things" won first place at the Kauai Music Festival song contest. I won a couple of round trip tickets to the mainland and the chance to perform at a BMI songwriters showcase in Nashville.

I also got to meet and talk songwriting with Jason Blume, Jeffrey Steele, Brian Howes, Shelly Peiken and lots of other talented song writers. Overall the Music Festival was an extraordinary experience. I really recommend that any songwriter interested in honing their craft and networking with other writers check it out. Hey everybody,

Its time again for the KKOA Colgate Country Sha-Hoe down, and I'm
gonna be there, so I hope you will be too. Last year the radio station
asked me to be a "celebrity judge" , and while it is great being a
celeb and all, it's WAY more fun to perform, so I'll be on stage this
year.

Its happening Saturday, July 14th at the Keahou Sheraton Resort. Show
starts at 7:00, so come on out and support live country music in
Hawai'i. I'll be performing a couple of brand new original songs, and
the band this year promises to be outstanding as usual, and this year
we've got a pedal steel/dobro player to make thangs that more
countri-fied. SO don't miss it.

Hey there....
What have I been up to? Well, for starters wrting like crazy. I've been really lucky to find some "pardners in crime" out in America proper, folks who are really talented writers and who have a foot, hell maybe an entire leg, in the Nashville door. Been getting some great reviews and forwards to publishers and record companys from TAXI "the worlds leading independent A&R company". Not to blow my own horn too much, but when typically jaded record industry folks use terms like "HUGE TALENT" and "TREMENDOUS POTENTIAL", well, I guess I'm on the right track. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Some folks have asked about downloading from my web page, so i added downloadable mp3's to the music page. Like I've said, these are home made demo's and works in progress, so listen at your own risk.

The show in California was big fun, and the talent there was just what you'd expect in Southern California. I did everything i set out to do, I had a great time, I made some new, and very talented friends, and I made some great industry contacts. All in all, a smashing success. Thanks to all my friends for the good vibes, and a big MAHALO to the gang at KKOA radio for bringing the showdown to Hawaii for the first time !! Hey, I won first prize in the local Colgate Country Sha-hoe-down. It was great meeting new people and making some new friends. The folks at the radio station (KKOA 107) were great, as were Sammy Grant andthe guys in the back up band. A great big Mahalo to everyone who came out.
